Hello, all. Several weeks ago, I acquired a goose. He or she lives with my two young Pekins and, though they get a long very well, I feel as though he or she should also have a goose companion.
I believe my goose is an Embden, though I'm not positive, and I'm unsure of the sex. Perhaps you kind folks could help me figure that out? If it's something we cannot determine from photos, does the sex of the goose that I choose to be his/her companion matter? My pretty uneducated theory is that I should seek out a goose rather than a gander, so I'd either end up with two geese or a pair. Does this seem pretty reasonable?
