Wow. Do any of your other eggs show signs of internal pipping? Shadowing? What were your incubation temps and what incubator are you using? Lockdown now, it should have a chance. Could it have developed during shipping some? Can you hear any peeping?
Thank you for replying! I’m stressing out here. The other eggs have normal for this stage air cells, no pipping, and no shadowing. They are wriggling around in the incubator though. I’m using a nurture right 360 that has consistently been 99.5 degrees and 50-55% humidity. They seemed to all be developing at the same pace until a few days ago when I noticed this one’s air cell expanding. I can’t hear any peeping.
The NR 360 is a very good incubator. I'm wondering if it started to develop in.the post some. Did you candle them when they arrived? I wouldn't worry too much. I'm sure it will be fine. I'd expect it in about 3 days, give or take. Maybe there's a hot spot? If you didn't have them in the turner tray (did you turn them by hand?) Did you leave that one in the same spot or did you rotate where they layed with the other eggs? Sorry if that's confusing. If it ia let me know and I'll try to reword it.
Luckily I have two NR 360’s so I just moved it by itself in the other one. I did turn them by hand and moved them around often. Do you think I should make an air hole? I didn’t look at them yesterday so I’m not sure how long ago it internally pipped.
