Hi, I have a brown Chinese goose she is about 6 months old and we are in FL. Today I went out to collect my chicken eggs and found a white, slightly pointy egg in the nesting box with my brown chicken eggs.....I have noticed the Goose "fluffing" the hay in the nesting boxes, but just assumed she was being her curious self. The odd thing with the egg is that it is slightly smaller than the chicken eggs. Is it possible that this is HER egg and not some strange fluke white egg from my brown egg laying chickens???? Isn't she too young to start laying already?
Confused.

. There have been cases of Juvenile Geese laying early. Even Juvenile Geese eggs are usually larger than Chicken eggs but anything is possible.

could be, but as Kevin said even young geese lay an egg larger than a chicken egg. Be ready though since you are also in FL. Our Africans start laying in December with breeding season and the Sebbies in January.
