I had a pair of pilgrim geese. My gander died in early fall 2017. I wasn't able to find a replacement gander until mid January. Now, With the original duo I only ever saw them breed with a pool out. I wasn't able to put out a pool for them this year until 2nd week of March and my goose started laying about a week and a half to two weeks later.
I have been picking up the eggs every few days since then.
Any chance these are fertile? I haven't seen the new gander breed her but they have had pool access for about a month.
Opinions?

Definitely infertile to my eye. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Ok 2nd egg still not seeing bullseye so I believe infertile. Again correct me if wrong and I'll hook up the incubator and let her sit on a few.

I don't see fertility...you can probably see it better tho.
Pic is not real clear, it's hard to take pics of yolks.
You could probably toss a couple in bator then in 5 days you should see veins.
Is your goose brooding?

She very much wants to be a mom. She keeps making her nest and this is the third year in which she won't likely get her wish due to a series of misfortune. She isn't staying on her nest all the time yet but generally will if I leave her more than 3 eggs to sit on. If they aren't fertile I won't leave her eggs to put her through that stress for nothing.
They are very thick shelled so I don't believe I can see much of anything when candling. I've only tried incubating them once and they were doing well until a sudden malfunction causing a major temp increase in about 3 days before they were due to hatch, killing the 3 that had about fully developed.
