This goes back all the way back when my two Pekin ducks were less than a month old. I took them to the lake when they were babies (still do) and one time when I took them there was a bunch of geese. I thought they would get along with my ducks but I was wrong. They all got mad and started honking and I slowly backed out so they would leave me alone, But no. They would just keep walking towards me and my ducks. So then all of a sudden it just started flying at us so I ran and left my ducks behind. The goose then started following around my ducks but not in a friendly way. So I just picked my ducks up and left.
Sometimes when I go there the geese are there to and they whenever they see my ducks the goose always starts coming. So I always end up leaving when the geese are there. Until a couple days ago I went when there was geese... I stayed in the grass with my ducks and waited a bit to see if the geese would leave so my ducks could go Into the water. But about fifteen minutes later the goose sees me and starts running at me and hissing even though I didn’t do anything or was even near it. I picked my ducks up and ran home. However it kept following me. Yesterday it somehow found my house and I found it outside my house where my ducks are. My husband went and chased it off. Today it seemed to want to visit them again. It was in my backyard shaking it’s head which seemed to me like he/she felt threatened. I scared it off again. I feel like it’s just going to keep coming and I don’t want that. What does it want and why is it dong it and how do I keep it from coming? I’m pretty sure it’s the same wild goose however I don’t know how it could remember me from months ago.
