Goose going broody without any eggs??

My goose is sitting on eggs that aren't fertile. Do you know if I take some baby geese to her if she will take them as if she hatched them??
It´s highly possible that she will. Take two to her, and see if she´ll just lift her wing for them to snuggle. Just watch her. The babies will instinctively try to climb into her. Once she´s lifting her wing for them, she´ll probably be fin, then take the eggs away and keep an eye on her for a bit to make sure she´s doing a good job.

Okay, I also have (I think) a broody goose sitting on a nest with no eggs. We have two African females. We got an egg from both on Monday, with nothing since then. I have one girl who has been sitting on their usual nest (they share) for the past two days. She's also covered it in her down and will hiss when we first walk up but will otherwise just sit there and let us pet her. We've lifted her off a couple times looking for eggs, but nothing... I'm not ready to give her the incubation hatched goslings yet! I want more eggs from her first...

If she gets goslings to raise now, will she lay anymore this year or will she be done until next spring?
