I had 5 goslings hatch yesterday and one has a foot that is a little crooked, it is pointing inward. I tried putting a bandaid around it with a q tip to straighten it but I must have done it wrong, anyone know how to fix a crooked foot on a goose. I will try to get a pic of it and post. BTW all 5 were females, I'm holding my breath on the other 4 eggs in the bator.

There have been a few threads about this. You could check out the duck stickies. I know I saw it somewhere. Good luck hope the little one can get better. I know Iain has had a goose named Spirit who had a crooked feet/legs.

Thanks, I did try to go a search but this forum has one of the worst search engines I have seen, no offense to anyone but seriously it's pretty bad. LOL

Thanks for your help, I'm afraid I'm going to have to cull as it is not spradle leg but it seems the tendon has developed incorrectly.

What kind of goose and what kind is it? Don't cull it yet, maybe I can rehabilitate it if you ship.
