Which goose breed is the tallest? Chinese or Embden?
Also, are there any goose breeds that are taller than the ones I have mentioned?

Hmm. They didn't mention Chinese geese in that thread. I am aware that the Embdens are very heavy and tall, but I suspect that despite being lighter, Chinese geese would be taller due to their long necks.

Sorry about that and quite right, I was looking at the "larger" and not "taller" Embden larger than African and African larger than Chinese. My Embden girl was supposed to be rehomed with a Chinese gander and after I saw the size difference I decided to spare him

He is a tall boy though. I don't know if the breed standards include height.....

Thought you might find this interesting: "Though taller than the Toulouse and Emden goose breeds, African goose breed weighs lighter where males can grow up to 20 pounds and female can weigh up to 18 pounds. This breed is a good source for eggs. African goose breed distinctive mark includes: brown plumage, dark beak and a knob on its head." http://www.papaleng-amazing-animals.com/2012/04/popular-domesticated-goose-breeds.html#.Vg7IPuyqqko

Thank you for that information. It was helpful.

From what I've found, Emdens can get to be about three feet tall.
