I have a 2 month old gosling who got caught in his caging and I found him flipped in his back with his wing caught. He is eating & drinking well but when he goes to stand up he flips onto his back. Anyone have any ideas as to how to treat this or what the issue might be? It happened 2 days ago & he's still alive.

. Could he have broken the wing causing him to be unbalanced? Have you checked the legs for injury?

I will check but it seems like a neck injury...my friend actually found him as i am away for holidays and has only told me he flips backwards when he stands up & that he is eating a drinking still. Thank you.

Hmm does he seem to be responding normally when touched? Could be neurological problems

Update...goose home now & eating, drinking & preening ...will stand but when it does it flips backwards onto back because it pushed with its feet. It has full neck motion. We've ended up securing it in a box so it can't attempt to do the backwards flip. It chats away to us and its other 2 geese.
