Does anyone know if a species of geese "speak a different language" than other species? I've heard duck breeds can have their own language. Can domestic geese communicate with wild geese? Or Chinese communicate with Sebastopol, etc?
Domestic geese tend to communicate in the same ways with each other despite breed and share the same similarities with their wild counterparts “Anser anser & Anser cygnoides” though their voices will vary.
I can’t say if they can understand species that are further apart on the evolutionary tree but there are some common behaviors and vocalization types across species.
