My Sebastopol, Zeena layed an egg today. Anyone have geese laying this late? She is always with Zander her mate. Could it be fertile? She has raised her goslings and now is direct competition with her rival Zag, a blue Swedish duck, who lays every day and is currently broody sitting on an apple. Zeena wants her nest and the apple! Go figure! Should I try to incubate it this late in the year? She also decided to take a bath in a tray of brown paint today! Guess she's trying to look more like her husband and offspring!
