Goose lobes

One of my geese has only 1 lobe, my other goose has the normal 2 lobes. Should i worry about only having 1 lobe?

I was researching this too recently! It seems that lobes are different for different breeds, and some breeds will indeed have just the 1 lobe.

The lobes are really just an appearance thing, and that missing a lobe is fine, unless you want show-quality geese.

It’s fine! Some geese have one lobe, some have two, and some have a combination, it just depends on genetics or individually how they carry their weight.
