Our 7 goslings from Ideal are growing like little weeds. It amazes me how personable they are compared to the chicks living in the brooder next door.
Our eventual goal is to fence off a portion of the field around our garden for them and then use a temporary fence to keep them out of the garden as needed. Their will be a walkthrough people gate between the field and our back yard. Currently Callie, our Australian Shepherd, lives in the back yard. She does great with the chickens and should be fine with the geese as well.
It would be a bonus to be able to let Callie have access into the goose field as well. Is there any way to make a gate/opening that Callie, or a dog in general, would be able to pass through at will but the geese would be unable to? The only thing I have been able to come up with thus far would be something akin to a flap type pet door. Thanks in advance for any help, thoughts, or feedback.
