I was watching my geese the other day, and I saw one of my geese puke, or something like that. He drank a bit of water, and then he looked down and a bunch of water fell out of his mouth. Is this normal, or is it something I should worry about? Thanks! [IMG]

when my geese drink, the water will fall back out if I pick them up, or if the head gets lower than their stomach... i don't worry about it, and it doesn't seem to be a problem.

I don't know why they do that from time to time but they do. I noticed one of my ganders did it quite a bit last year and it worried me at first. No harm came from it so I quit worrying [IMG]

My pet muscovy male named Gator did that last week. He was standing next to water trough and started puking up liquid. He tossed his head a few times and it went everywhere.
I worried about him and kept an eye on him the rest of day. He would not eat, just stand next to water and drink more. I figured he was overheated??

Next day he was fine and first one to greet me at the gate for breakfast!
