Goose transport case

They seem to prefer riding like that rather than being in the crate.
I have a basket with a lid which is comfortable for one adult goose, but often used it for the two goslings I reared by hand. I'd take them with me if I went away for more than a couple of days, and they would ride in the basket on the front passenger seat, watching out the window and would do so for hours at a time. Reactions from other people when they realised they were being watched by two geese were priceless...

Ok you really have my attention by traveling with them. Would love to know if they are leash trained? How far do you travel but most important; where do you keep them once you arrive?
Loved " reactions when they knew they were being watched by geese"!🤣

I think my chickens would be fine if I left for a few days but not my geese. I am changing out their water several times a day.

No I didn't leash train them, they did follow but became more independent as they got older, a call would bring them back if they were exploring. I'd often take them when I visited family, 1.5 to 2 hours each way and make a pen for them on the lawn to keep them from eating vege gardens and other things that might make them unpopular. Wire netting clipped together into a circle or one of the panel type pens intended to keep small dogs works well, and their usual water bowl and basket for shade. They seemed to settle fairly quickly if they knew that someone familiar was around.
