Puncture wound slightly under wing. We poured whole bottle of hydrogen peroxide on the wound. We gently tied his wings to his body to keep him from stretching and opening the wound. It has stopped bleeding. We think it may have been a hawk. Anything else we should do??

I like to dress wounds with something to keep them clean and prevent infection. Either Blukote or Neosporin would work. If you are where flies may be an issue, you might consider applying Swat to it to keep them out of the wound.

I hope he recovers.
