Sorry for the confusion question. I need the least amount of time I could quarantine for. I’m quarantine because this goose was living with goats cows chickens turkeys all in one area. do I not even need to quarintin?
If you got the goose from a large flock of birds or different farm or auction Quarantine is always a good idea if your putting them with your established flock. My state vets have told me 4-8 weeks.. Im NPIP so my flock is state monitored. yearly.
That being said Im usually on the 3 week mark (no runny eyes, breathing well, no unusual loss of feathers (dont mean molting) Big patches ect... Gaining and holding weight. I figure Im good...
When I get shipped goslings they usually go right in with mine but the group including mine are kept separate from the flock for a few weeks.
