Gooster... My Rooster Sounds Like A Goose

I tried looking to see if anyone had asked this before. But I couldn't find an answer that fully answered me.
I was just outside, hand feeding my chickens. My rooster(about 13 weeks old) started honking. My first reaction was to laugh until I was crying... But I'm wondering if this is his first shot at crowing.
I've never raised roosters before, I bought a full grown rooster shortly before I bought Little Fire(the honker), but he crows just fine... so yeah, could he be learning to crow?

Funny! I have no experience with roosters so I can't helo with your question, but we laugh at one of our buff orpington pullets because she sounds like a goose. Instead of clucking like the others, she has a deep "bawk" that sounds more like a honk.

Their voices are changing......I love the 'honking' stage, cracks me up every time!
Not all birds do it.... but many do, doesn't matter if pullet or cockerel.
