Hi! I got two chicks from my pre-k who hatched them, and I have no idea what one of them is!!! If you can tell gender, that's great. Maisy (the one in the pic) clucked today....I don't know if roos cluck, so help! oh, and if you can't tell, Maisy has light feathering on her legs......

That's her face and legs, you probably can't tell she has light foot feathering, but she does!

This one shows her body and tail.....So what is she??? And is she a she or a he?
And If you can tell what the black one is, that'd be good too.

You can't say for sure what mix, but you can say she has white skin and a narrow body type, so something with those traits would be a parent, I'd think. Can't see the comb type-that would give us another clue, but with crosses, you may never know for sure what you have.

cant really tell what shes got mixed in but with slightly feathered legs you can guess that there is some sort of feathered legged chicken in her background and since they are so lightly feathered she may be a 2-3 gens away from the feather legged breed or it could be even further back then that. she might have some game in her but its really to hard to tell

Is she a bantam? Take a look at my OEGB X D'uccle mix pullet...colors are different but body type and light feathering on the legs are the same.

She may possibly be a bantam, I checked her comb and it looks like a pea comb.
:)
UPDATE: I think she is a bantam because she is half the size of her sister!!
