Hello everyone i recently got 2 adorably wonderful gosling and was wondering if anyone could help me figure out their breed? Originally i was going to house them near my chickens in the back yard as guards but my daughter has informed me they are now her babies and i was thinking i might build them a space of their own in the front yard to hang out with her but dont know if that a great idea if they are a very loud breed. If anyone has any advice or suggestions i would appreciate anything! I have had chickens and ducks but these are my first geese.

Ok thank you, so they might be great guard dogs but very vocal! The person at tractor supply thought the might be toulouse but i thought the color might be off 🤔

They are so sweet. I can live out my fly away home dreams now lol 🥰

If you do have a pair, which it’s to young to tell, you’ll just have to be careful during breeding season. The ganders get really mean. As in they’ll grab you leg and beat you with his wings.

That's just what someone else getting geese told me so i could be 100% wrong, would you suggest rehoming the boy if he will get that aggressive? I have a toddler as well so i dont want it to become a problem.
