I’ve got duckling starter crumb and brewers yeast ready for when my gosling hatches but I have a few questions, do I have to provide grit with the crumb or just when it has fresh greens? And when do I start feeding it as I’ve read they live off of the yolk for a bit, thank you 😊

Have food and water available 24/7, chick grit on the side in a little bowl once you start rotating in greens. I found my goslings did not like dry crumble, so I mixed water in to make it more of a soupy mush. If you'd like to add another supplement, kelp is a good one!

That’s great so they only need grit with greens? I’m just panicking now as I ordered the grit but is not coming until next week and the gosling has just started to internal pip 🤦🏼‍♀️
