I am sorry I have been reading a threat and now I can't find it, my phone just went off. I am very worried now about the goslings feeding. They are 4days ald and growing like mad an running around on strong little legs. We cannot find any gosling crumble, we spent one day on the phone looking and one day driving from farm shop to farm looking. Now we are breaking up the duck pellets with a blender and putting it out for them.
The food is available all day but they do not eat it, they spend all day pecking in the yard with mom and dad. So I am now worried they will develop deficiencies. Even the goose and gander is not eating as usual. They all seem fine.
I really do not knowbwhat to do anymore. It's suddenly cold and raining here. They refuse to sleep under the fazebo as usual and no matter what other arrangements we try and make nothing works. It is not possible to force them in anywhere, they start hissing as soon as we get close and if we do not move away they get completely hysterical.
All we can do is to keep on putting out fresh feed and leave them to their own devices. Will they control their eating as they need it?
Sorry I am turning into a nervous wreck from worrying about them all the time. At my old age I am looking after goslings for the first time and I do not know what I am doing
