My three day old gosling isn't eating. Right off the bat she decided she didn't like the starter, whether it was dry or watered down into a mush. I didn't think too much of it the first day just because the yolk is still in their system. I did find it a little off though just because all the other goslings I've had have been interested in food as soon as I dip their beak into it. Day one blurred into day two and she still didn't want any of it. I took her outside since it was warm and what did she want to eat? Big pieces of grass that were impossible for her to eat. She did take in a tiny amount of sand and pond scum though and I saw her get some littler pieces of grass. Later yesterday I got the idea to pick small, tender pieces of grass for her. She went nuts for them. She didn't eat much at all though. Half the pieces she shook out of the dish, so I whisked an egg up and she took a couple drinks. Last night she pooped a dark green a couple of times and then the next time she went, there was solid grass. She also spit up a couple of pieces. Today, at three days of age, she wants nothing to do with any food. Any suggestions?
