What breed is she? She is adorable!

I have to try to sex mine this weekend to see what I have. I don't think we have room for all 5 :(.
As far as i can tell, she's either an african or chinese brown... i'm 90% sure she's a she... i vent sexed her at the farm store when i bought her (taught the staff how to vent sex while i was at it) but as you know, vent sexing isn't a 100% certainty. (unless you determine it's a male, then you can be 100% sure)
they got their goslings from Ideal Poultry, and it didn't say what breed, but from bill shape, and coloration i am sure she's african or chinese, and from her very sweet personality i'm leaning toward brown chinese.
she absolutely loves cuddles and was the only gosling to run up to me and ask to be picked up at the store... the other 4 were standoffish and ran away

i have two, two week old brown chinese goslings. i got them straight run & i've had no luck trying to vent sex either. so i'm wondering how much attention can be given to behavior at this age to determine sex.
i have one larger gosling, pickle. this gosling is always first in front in the brooder to greet me, outdoors on walks it leads the other gosling; head high & body erect. it's more vocal & more affectionate than tilda. that is the smaller gosling, this one is affectionate but is much harder to catch. it seems to be naturally quieter & its usual stance is behind pickle. it greets me in a more horizontal posture with its neck outstretched. if i gauge them by adult goose behavior, pickle is a gander & tilda is a hen.
i'm curious if anyone has noticed a difference in their goslings & how things turned out.

So I watched a bunch of videos and tried to vent check and turns out they’re all females so I have obviously screwed that up!! They do all have female Pilgrim colouring however, there was a Pomeranian gander in the barn as well! I’ll keep trying.

All but the one looks nearly identical to mine. Maybe all baby geese look the same? Do yours have a bit of a droopy wing? I’m not sure if I should be worried. One is worse than the other, but it looks like the wings are just very heavy. I will attach pics. And I would guess you have 5 Pilgrim girls. But that comes from someone that knows nothing at all about geese past 27 days old!

Yes those wings being drooping is normal they are heavy with blood right now and they will adjust then they droop then they will adjust until they get the strength to hold where they are supposed to be. Precious:love

Thank you! I worry so much about everything with these girls. Are they blue because of the blood? I thought that was just feathers in the “tubes.”

Yes that’s blood the feathers will eventually come through and they will be holding them where they should be. If she broke one of those feather shafts she would bleed.
