The three goslings are six days old today, and they run after me in the yard and sleep on my legs, but they bite so hard! Every freckle on my legs or arms they see they bite and it
hurts bad! I don't know what I should be doing to discourage this behavior. Any advice will help! Thanks!

You can't discourage the biting - it's goslings' way of exploring the world. As they have no hands, they'll bite, chew and pull at anything they want to examine.

What you can do is - as sourland says - cover up your freckles, and you can try giving them something more exciting to investigate. Encourage them by pecking at it with your finger, making excited noises. I got my goose some sturdy secondhand baby toys when she was little. This was one of her favorites:

The legs and the handle are softer plastic, providing some give when she chewed them. The "claws" rattled, and she really liked that. Noise and chewiness - exactly like freckles, but way less painful for you.

Another favorite was a stuffed bee with that crackle/crinkle material in its wings.

Oh, and I almost forgot - how could I? - crocs! I got her some brightly colored toddler crocs to play with in her pond, and she still likes to give them a good rustle. She'll chew them, shake them, throw them, and dunk them. They're very robust; even now she's only managed to chew off a few tiny specks.

If you decide to go with "decoys", make sure they're sturdy enough for your goslings, so they don't risk accidentally eating string or other hardware.

Do you have grass in your yard? If so, sit on the grass as it could distract them. they love to nibble at grass.

Baby toys! That's such a great idea! Yes we have grass. They don't bite me unless they're sitting in my lap, then thru go after my freckle bugs! My brother and his wife just had a baby so we have lots of toys here at home, I will pick one for them! Thanks everyone!
