Goslings pinching and nibbling?

It reminds me of puppies. Is this a phase? My concern is if it is something I need to discourage- then I should do so. I imagine a full grown goose pinching and nibbling on my fingers won't feel so great. They are doing it a lot recently. They aren't being mean. They cry for us, we come over and our hands in there, we talk to them and they let us pet them...but then they start nibbling and pinching. Maybe it is just like a toddler curiosity? But I wanted to check on this and see if there is something I should be doing or it will pass? (my book did not cover this lol)

Seriously loving my goslings! Cute as buttons! So far they are loving wheat grass, kale and dandelion greens. mmmm! ;)

From reading what Celtic has written, I'd not let them nibble just because as you said imagine when they get to be full grown geese and they think it's ok to nibble...ouch!
My one month old is already showing protective tendencies... Wanting to attack anyone who is not me. Not sure how to discourage this, my boyfriend is kinda harsh towards this behavior which I do not like.

Never hand feed, push them off your hand and move through past them as if they are there.
Got it! Thanks! This is one of those things like with dogs and cats I guess? - the nibbling is cute and you want to let them do it because it's cute- but grown up it's bad news. No more nibbles allowed. I don't want geese that scare people or eventually scare me so I am glad I asked!
