Got a Blue Slate Turkey, and he is just so friendly

Are they all like that? He walks over to the neighbors and just gobbles around. Jeeze, he really is a joy, I mean, yes, I know it's a turkey, but he is very friendly.
Is it the breed?

I have a slate hen who used to sit on my lap and want to be petted when she was younger. It eventually stopped when she got too heavy. They really are a great breed of turkey; pretty and friendly!

I have Bourbon Reds that are like that - HUGE babies!! They're just as friendly as the family dog, lol.
