i think i got a broody hen on my hands. she was my last layer and the runt of the group. well, she was sitting on the 4 eggs when i got home form work today. she doesnt normall do this, but i noticed her just sitting there yesterday as well. i havent the heart to tell her there will be no babies yet
I have a black splash silkie named midnight and she is very broody she never comes out of the coop and steels all the other hens eggs if you are worried about her eating she won't come out of the coop so you will have to give her feed and water
