i bought a breeder out yesterday so got alot of new babies to love and spoil.

they r all english lops.

had to share pics of my new love bugs hope u enjoy pics.

grumpy he is dad of the rew babies and 1.5 years old

snow is the rew babies mom i believe she is about same age and unrelated

there is 5 rew babies, 2 girls and 3 boys born june 16th.

the rest r unrelated and were born in march and april. i have pedigrees for everyone except snow and the babies but some had # names so i have to name a few to add to their papers cuz they r to cute and sweet to not have real names.

there is a blue buck

cara is a tort doe

and a broken chestnut doe

OMG...I'm so jealous. I LOVE english lops. Had one a long time ago and now can't find a breeder anywhere around me. They sure are a sweet breed. Enjoy them.

A friend of mine raises and show E lops and she is on BYC. I will have to let her know about this link. Im sure she'd love another E lop breeder. She may even be able to help with breeders. She has raised them for years and does very well with her e lops. Im not sure what her name is one here but here is here web page.

thank you all! i'm so tickled to have been able to get them!!! they r very hard to find here usually a 2 hour + drive from me to find breeders who raise them and even then they r few and far between. i found someone i bought chickens and holland lops from about 5 years ago and she was only about 30 min from me. we have been talking on and off for almost a year now in email. she decided to get out of them didn't have time for them with her work so i was the first person she offered them up too and i got all of them. i need to get better pic of them but they r in quarenteen outside for now cuz i have lionheads and a holland lop babies inside in quarenteen. so will take better pics once i can.

would love to know if there is any other e-lop breeders on here. i checked out ur friends site love seeing her pics they r all beautiful.

those blacks and chins she has r gorgous!!! grumpy is the biggest and huge i have to have my husband get him out of his cage so i can play with him cuz i can't get him out he is to heavy,lol. i love his head too.

the rew babies ears r 15 to 17 in already and the intermediate and adults all have 18 to 23 inches i think it was when i measured earlier today. soon as i have time i want to weigh them too but i have to find my scales first.

the woman i got them from was just getting into breeding them, the babies r her first litter she bred. what happened was she bought the doe pregnant but when she bought her the guy didn't know she was bred so he force bred her to his male. well 2 days later she called him to let him know she had delivered a litter and he freaked telling her since he was the breeder he wanted pick of litter and she had to take them all to him so he could pick his baby and they were only days old. since she bought her as is and was force bred for free she didn't think it was right he force bred her and since it was not part of the deal for him to get a baby she refused to give him any of the babies since she paid for her as is. at the sale he told her he forgot the pedigree he would send it later. after she told him a baby was not in the deal she bought her outright pregnant he just never sent her papers. that litter she had 11 i think it was and she lost them all but not sure why. this is the litter from what she bred later on.

if he was like that with her although i really want her papers i don't know if it is really worth it to go through the troubles. i believe way she talked it was a kid she bout the doe from. if i remember right it is a breeder near pittsburgh which is about 2 hours from me. if he is like that with his breeders and to people he sells to i honestly don't want any of my babies going back to him so i understand why she did what she did. i'd rather let the papers go and know my e-lops r safe and in good homes if that makes sence. the other older babies and the adult buck came from different rabbitries but i know where they came from and info for them it is on their peds. none of them have tattoos but all the peds i think have ear #'s and has numbers and addresses and breeder info.

here is a couple more pics from today, will add more of the others tomarrow hopefully, my cell was dieing on me had to charge it. this is the blue buck he only has initials and #'s so i have to think of a name for him yet.

I would definately keep ahold of him for breeding. If you need any references for breeders in PA a friend of mine has great rabbits. I know a few Elop breeders from PA who make frequent trips to Michigan for shows so there's always an opportunity for transport if we ever wanted to do some swapping of rabbits!

Actually there's a huge show up here in Ionia,MI on sept 11 and 12 and my friend Sam from Warren,PA is coming up for that show.
Bummer you can't get the doe's pedigree, but yeah I don't think it'd be worth it either. I had a similar incident happen to me with a bred doe...not fun and not worth the trouble. Thankfully I had the pedigree already.
