ok, I have a pretty mixed flock, but I know what most of my new babies are. these are the ones I'm not positive about, need your opinions!

Chick #1

Chick #2

Chick #3

thanks for the help!

Production Red (or New Hampshire or the likes)

Black Australorp, likely

Black Sex Link

I've only had New Hampshires and those deep red wings don't look like NH; more likely to be a production red. Neighbor's RIR had deeper red peep fuzz. Not too sure on this one.

Agree on the Australorp.

I don't think that last one is sex link though. All of mine had the reddish feathers in the breast, but they also had bay colored eyes. Your peep looks like it has dark eyes and more reddish feathers overall than the sex links I've seen. Legs in our sex links were also yellow, not dark. Perhaps that is a golden laced mix in there somewhere or an australorp x red?

the red was a very yellow chick, only a slight tint of a difference between it and my buff orpington the same age, I was actually surprised when their feathers started coming in different, they looked so similar. I'm just really not sure about the black with the red/gold on it.
