Got a goat...?

I've been out of goats for 20 years but from what I remember, she looks like a toggenburg and a worming one at that. To me she is way to thin for not milking. Go to your local farm store and get a wormer/plunger and some worm pills. Stick them in the plunger, stick that way back in her throat and push the pill in. then as far as her feet, go get some hand pruning shears and take a little off the toe for now. Find a picture of what their feet should look like when they are trimmed on a regular basis.

You Tube is a great place to find hoof trimming videos. You will want to put her against a wall and either have someone hold her or tie her short so she can't dance around while you are doing it. Putting some feed in front of her might keep her occupied. Her heels are going to need work too. Don't try to trim them down all at once though. It took a while for them to get that bad and will take a few trimmings to get her feet in shape.
Pull her eyelid down and look inside of the bottom lid. If it is pink she is ok. If it is pale or white than she needs wormed. I use Ivomec 1% injectible. Ask other goat people in your area what they are using.
I agree with starting her slow with grain. I don't feed mine sweetfeed. I use a pelleted goat feed. Tractor Supply has goat feeds for dairy goats. If she is pregnant that is what I would give her. Fresh clean water all of the time. Goats don't like drinking dirty water and with warmer weather coming you want her to stay hydrated.
She is cute. Nice color. She could have Nigerian Dwarf in her. My Nigerians have the same coloring.
Goats do butt heads when they first meet. I think keeping them in seperate pens where they can see and smell each other is a good idea. You can let them out together when you are with them. Your newest one is young and missing momma. She will buddy up with your doe pretty quick. You need to be a little more cautious because the one is so young.
Good Luck! I love my goats.

http://www.backyardherds.com/forum/ and http://thegoatspot.net are wonderful forums. After 5 years of thinking about it and reading tons of books on them... I just recently finally got my first 2 goats - I'm so enjoying having them! Good luck with your new goats :)

Thank you, I will research that! I should do my research ahead of time but I never do~ Sighs~ I am so "off the fly"....runs in my family...

She looks a lot like a kinder to me. (Pygmy X Nubian).

See pictures below. (Note: These are not my pictures):

How cute is she??

ETA: I did trim Bailey's hooves but it's gonna take a few times. They were really long!
Both of them are doing well so far, and we are learning how inquisitive and full of energy goats can be :) They are a joyful addition to our home!
