I got a new batch of birds in today from Ideal. They sent 10 assorted pullets, 15 ducklings, 3 goslings, and 5 turkey poults. Many came dead and several others have died in the hours since they arrived. I know its not anything I did, because I have never had this problem before, but it is frustrating to see them all dropping like flies for no apparent reason. It's even more frustrating because I raise the ducks for meat and half of them died, so once I complain and have them resent I am going to have birds that are a couple weeks younger than the others, meaning I will have to process twice instead of once which is never fun.
