Got a new rooster

Thanks for the ideas!
The girls were extremely interested in him while we had him in the kennel. They talked to him. He talked to them but didn't act too crazy. He is a young rooster, barely managing his crow, so we felt good with introducing him. We let him out next day when they were free ranging. He turned out to be a scholar and a gentleman! He fits in like he was always meant to be there (although he is not sure about us or our dogs yet). The girls (especially my white Americanas, which I thought was interesting) were running over submitting to him right away! He turned them down and took his time deciding which hens he wanted. Even the boss hen likes him. He has been great, getting in the nest boxes, feeding treats and settling disputes the first day! His favorite place is in the middle of the bunch at night and his favorite hen is a shy ameracana that generally has kept to herself.

I have had four really good roosters, one I still miss after almost 14 years! We have had three really bad roosters, two we gave away and one bad enough that he was going to be put him down before the neighbors dogs got him. I have never had a really human aggressive rooster so I guess I should feel lucky there. We feel really lucky he tuned out to be one of the good ones!
Thanks again.
