got a strange question about water>>????

IK here is the big one, I have a tub for water in my coop cuzof the 3 ducks, but here is the weird question the water tub us 20 gallons and it sits inside a kiddie pool (empty) to catch all of the spilled water, here is the strange part.
So the chickens started laying about a week ago and today we got 5 eggs (yay) but on top of that we got 2 more in the water tub??? SO the question is How the heck did 2 eggs get yn the tub?
ANY help would be great this is driving me nuts!

My ducks lay eggs in their pool alot when they frist start to lay, then they relize after awhile that they should lay in the barn or where ever...............

The ducks may also have moved their eggs, it's fairly common for ducks to move eggs about

Thanks for all of the replies, I think it may have had to do with the ducks, sorry no gator or platypus good news is no eggs in the water today but we did get 7 eggs today! Thanks again I have lots to learn still but this is a great start and you all are ALOT of help!
