All right my chickadees here is a different kind of post. I have the unique opportunity to drive north from Florida and fly back. I am heading to Michigan. First! does anyone know if Allegiant allows a box of fertile eggs on the plane? I tried to call, no answer. Next, if I get past that obstacle I would like to know if anyone has any unique breeds available. I would like to purchase some eggs. Must be NPIP and kind of along our route which right now is anything goes. Or, do you know of someone to recommend? Excited hope I can pull this off.

I would GUESS that any airline these days would require X-rays of ANYthing going onto a plane. If that were not the case, I’d advise “don’t ask; don’t tell.” You could explain and ask if the fertile eggs not be Xrayed, but that’s the obstacle, as I see it.

Well that brings up a good point about the xray.
I called the TSA and they said no problem flying with them and I asked if there is a limit and she said no. I will bring my NPIP certification card with me. Just to show them I am in the chicken business, fingers crossed.

chickassan, then what do I do not put it on the conveyor belt? I don't fly that often but recently did and that area always seems so tense. Maybe hand it to one of the TSA guys and explain.
