Actually, I am wrong. Just checked my credit card statement and the total came to $46.85. Were you including the two free chicks I rec'd?

Anyhow, I'll try to find the invoice and then I can tell you the exact price I paid for them w/o the S&H.

They arrived this morning as "day olds", so I guess they're 2-3 days old. Pretty good, huh?

Was I right in my original post?!!

How did you get them for $43? It comes to $55 when I do it. Were they on sale when you ordered them?

Okay, I ordered them in a qty of 15 which was priced at $35.55, and shipping was $11.30.

Never ordered from Belt, so all I can speak to is these silkies from Cackle, and I think they're the best-looking, highest quality (thinking SQ here) chicks I've ever rec'd from any hatchery, hands down.

I'm almost thinking I need to stop talking about it in case I jinx it and they end up mutating in the night!!

For now, I love 'em!

Yes! You were right. The feathering on the legs are great and they are already so fluffy. I am jealous. If I weren't leaving for vacation this week I'd be ordering some. Of course, I may be single again if I do!!!!!

Thanks, they went up on their price. And the shipping is now $15. Still a good deal, I'm really thinking of ordering some. Just wish they had partridge, I really want partridge.

How did you order them? Did you do it online or over the phone? And how long did it take to get them? I've been trying to call them for 2 days and have yet to speak to a live person.
Those are really nice looking silkies and I want some!
Thanks

I called them up b/c when I went to place the order online it wouldn't give me a "ship by" date. Anyhow, I called in early May and they had nothing available until June 1st.

Keep trying! I think they're worth it, even if they aren't show-quality perfect!!
