What color are the pheonixes? Silver or gold? You'll enjoy them, but know they are not really pet chickens. They're very similar to leghorns and will do best with a lot of space and minimal handling

She shouldn't be mean, just not cuddly. My strain at least makes an excellent broody. Yours might too, even for hatchery birds
