got my babies

I am so excited, I jut got them yesterday. Went to the feed store and got 2 austrolorps (I think), 2 Americanas, and a rhoad island red named Red. We have Princess Peach, Mindy, LaBoo, Little, and Red. They are so cute. We are using grass clippings for bedding (it got knee deep by the time hubby finally decided to mow. I figured it's like hay but softer and thinner and wont stick to their butts. They love it. It gives them something to pick at. They play king of the food bowel and climb over the TP roll we put in there. When should I put in a roost? Any advice? Thanks

Mine used the roost in their brooder at around 2 weeks old.

I don't know how to post pics. I'm working on it. When I got home today one was stuck in the TP tube. There so cool.
