got my chicks in the mail and they have some feathers already

I just got my order from MPC yesterday and a few of the girls already have some feathers. Is that normal?

the chicks i got from cackle this year had the start of a feather on the tip of their wings.

Very normal. You have to remember that they are shipped as day-olds and could have taken anywhere from 1-3 days to get to you. By that age, wing feathers are sprouting!

Of course I cant tell the 2 speckled sussex apart from the 2 EE's. At least the 2 barred rocks were easy

Oh, I really want to see pics! Next Monday, I am picking up an EE, a speckled sussex, a barred rock, and a welsumer from Meyer (where MPC chicks are from), so I am super curious to see your babies!

Ok. here are the picts
I think the 1st 2 are the Speckled Sussex, the 2nd 2 are the EE and the last 2 are the Barred Rocks.
Before they were moving around so much that I couldn't keep track of them. Since they were mostly asleep now I had a better chance to look at them.
