HI all, thanks again for the warm welcome!
Well I just picked up my chicks 2 nights ago, so cute! Picked out 7 bantam cochens, hoping at least 3 are hens. They are all between 3-4 weeks, all are little fuzz balls. So far so good all are eating, drinking, pooping, and sleeping tons. So fun to watch...very enjoying! From reading some of the topics on feeding on this site, I decided last night to round up some ants & ear wigs. It was crazy how fast they went at them, they were all around the feeder when I dropped them in and at least half went wild on the little bugs...LOVE IT!!! Can't wait to beable to let them free range. All thats left to do to my coop (which is 5'x4' lean-to style with run under main coop) install board all around coop and then wire up the run under the coop and ventilation vents. And paint it of course. Any pointers at the stage I'm at is more then welcome, remember I'm a newbie...lol
Pics will be up next week
