Got my chicks today! so pumped.

Congrats on yours too! I ended having one loss on day 6 but the rest are doing great. They just moved to the coop yesterday! They are so much fun.
I'm sorry you had a loss. I'm watching the one really closely. It's the smallest of the bunch so hoping she just needs more heat and to get use to her new surroundings. She drank and ate so that's a plus I hope.

Congratulations!! They are beautiful! I don't have a heat lamp just the heat plate, and all mine are doing really good. Being a newbie at this I would go with whatever all the experts on here say to do. Good luck! I hope you will post some pictures of them as they get bigger. Mine are 1 week today I will post some more but here are a few. Happy brooding :woot:woot

I have a blue bell egger. Her eggs are blue and large. I like her. Her egg is the blue on the top.

Who Is the one is laying the dark brown eggs. You mentioned that the one laying the beautiful blue eggs is a “blue bell egger” I’ve never heard of that breed before, ( there is a whole lot I don’t know about chickens🤷🏼‍♀️) do you have a pic of some of your ladies that lay the different collet eggs?
