Congrats on the babies! And you are only half as nuts as I am.... I ordered 30 last year as my first round of ducks

With only a few set backs they have done quite well and are laying up a storm! I even have babies from them as well!

I plan to order blue Runners next spring from them!

Meanwhile I have 11 Saxony ducklings growing up from them!

They are beautiful and awesome! Great personalities and not skittish.
I haven't lost any of them or ones from my own ducks and chickens hatching out ducklings but I got an order from Sand Hill of Golden Cascades and lost 5 within the first few days so I wont be ordering from them again.

DD's 22nd birthday is 28th of this month. She mentioned wanting to order runner ducks. I told her to get on Holderread's and pick some out for her birthday. Maybe we will end up getting some too

No telling how many though, knowing her it will be a LOT
