Peep-PeepChick
In the Brooder
These bantams are about 2 weeks old, they were in a straight run bantam mix at Tractor supply. Is there any way to tell their breed this early? They all have feathered feet.

All appear to be different colors of Cochins. These bantams are about 2 weeks old, they were in a straight run bantam mix at Tractor supply. Is there any way to tell their breed this early? They all have feathered feet.
I think you're right on there - the lighter one behaves like a roo - calls the alert (no crow attempts, but a trilling peep) and everyone responds by freezing. They're cochins. 2 golden laced, a buff and a white. Since the golden laces are differently colored I'll guess the lighter one is a cockerel but that's just a guess
