We FINALLY got our first chicken egg today! A green one from our Araucana/EE. It was so eggciting!!! She sat in the nest box for close to an hour. I guess she got tired of us checking on her because she finally hopped out without laying her egg. Then, while I was in checking the box she laid it right on the ground by the duck's swimming pool. It's such a beautiful shade of green! I will post pictures under First Egg soon. She's 22 weeks today. Now all the other girls need to get busy!
