Lovely chicks! What breed are the newer ones? I loveee your coop, very unique and beautiful, and I love all the recycling of materials. Way to go!

Will have to post some new pictures..still haven`t painted it, took down the dog and chicken wire for some kennel fence I found at home depot. Its fabulous,and moveable and comes with gates. No posts to dig and set, big gate doors that make it easier to go in with wheel barrows. They can now stick their heads out of the fence to pick at weeds. We have a Brama (i think) rooster that was run off by a neighbors roo. He has been leading a few of my girls astray, but he sure loves spending time with them. =} The new fence was so shiney that we toned it down with reproduction advertising signs...it came out really cute. I hope to find some more signs to hang up soon. Our main flock were from tractor supply, listed as red bluffs. We have a dozen and the i am here to stay rooster...we call him Brewster the Rooster after a joke we heard years a go.
