Hmmm... Looks like Ruby may be a Rudy.... show us a shot of the top of his head. If the spot on top is small and tight it's a she, big and irregular, a Rudy...

ack! I hope not! (s)he is supposed to be a pullet. but I understand it is an art.... I am hoping I dont lose to many to being roosters. The Bantams were bought straight run, so I am already worried half or more will be roosters. I cant keep noisy roosters....

Ok, here is the back of Ruby's head:

Any guesses on how they will feather out? It is fun trying to guess....like a big mystery!!! So far I am pretty sure Easter will be white, and Chili is a grey or blue Cochin. Not sure what color Jade, Buffy or Ruby will be.

Congrats on your new chicks! be careful- I got my first chicks 2 years ago and am working on a new coop now cause its an addiction!!!!
