Got my first Easter Egger egg the day before Easter!

I have 3 hens who lay and 3 pullets I've been waiting on to start contributing since Oct 26th (day olds). Well, like 4 days ago the barred rock started laying and today I go out there to find that one of the EE started now too! This is the little egg next to one from my cinnamon queen, who lays pretty big eggs.

Congrats!
Green/blue eggs are notoriously hard to photograph.
Best bet is bright but indirect sunlight on a white background.
Even then, everyone's screen may display the color differently.

Congrats! Same color as my girls. Hers are about as big as the brown one now

Just have to wait, which is hard I know

Got another one today, along with eggs from everyone else except the other EE. 5 eggs from 6 hens/pullets is a nice change from a steady 2. I'll take it!

edit: I compared today's egg with yesterday's and it's more of a pale blueish color. Not sure if my other EE started laying today or if it's just the first one's system working out the kinks.
Color in the picture still sucks. LOL

Definitely both laying! These 2 were in there today. The lighter one doubled in size from the one yesterday.
