Got my first egg

I am so happy my hens have started to lay they are about 22 weeks old and i get my first brown egg this morning lol. I am so happy i just hope the rest start to lay so that i can stop buying eggs at the store lol. I so excited I took pics lol

Congrats!! Mine just started laying Monday. I'm getting 1-2 a day. It feels good just knowing I won't have to buy eggs for Sunday morning breakfast.

ME TOO! I found two perfect little brown eggs in the nest boxes this morning!
I knew they were getting close to laying because the sex-links were squatting and acting all weird but they are only 16 weeks old!!!
Now I think 1 of the barred rocks is in there trying her luck too. lol
I got pics too...hope they come thru ok.

lol you have it right freeloaders is what htey have been.

I think that power of suggestion works because 2 days ago my hubby went out there and told them that if they did not start layin he was gona eat all of them for supper now look i have eggs lol.
