I might keep one or three to add to my flock. Like I might take one scovie, one crested swede, a runner or two - but the rest Im selling.
Btw - Ill try to post pictures later - But I was taking my ducklings ( 1 month olds and one 2 week old ) out on an adventure to see the adults and I noticed the COOLEST thing on my magpie crosses -
They have green laced black feathers! On their rumps Zorro and Bandit have blck feathers with That pretty shiny green lacing!
Poor Catfish.... He/she has no extraordinary markings. But! SHe/he is the very first chocolate from my flock. Usually I do all my own breeding for eggs and babies - but I have only one drake and he is 10 years old, moulting and kind of raggity. He has no interest in mating and im not sure how much longer he will be with us as he is losing his water proofing. I dont know if he is just not preening or if he is just really old or what!
