Got My first eggs & bator ** FINISHED**

I might keep one or three to add to my flock. Like I might take one scovie, one crested swede, a runner or two - but the rest Im selling.

Btw - Ill try to post pictures later - But I was taking my ducklings ( 1 month olds and one 2 week old ) out on an adventure to see the adults and I noticed the COOLEST thing on my magpie crosses -

They have green laced black feathers! On their rumps Zorro and Bandit have blck feathers with That pretty shiny green lacing!
Poor Catfish.... He/she has no extraordinary markings. But! SHe/he is the very first chocolate from my flock. Usually I do all my own breeding for eggs and babies - but I have only one drake and he is 10 years old, moulting and kind of raggity. He has no interest in mating and im not sure how much longer he will be with us as he is losing his water proofing. I dont know if he is just not preening or if he is just really old or what!

10 is pretty old for a drake. Sorry that your old guy seems to be gradually sliding downhill.

But you WILL find a new drake or two in this bunch of hatchlings.

I wish there was someone around here who knew how to vent sex, so I could learn. Im too scared to do it myslef in fear of hurting them. Im think that Zorro might be a boy and Catfish and Bandit might be girls.

I plan ( if this hatch goes well ) to keep one crested swede, a runner, and maybe another scovie to be friends with my current singular scovie. Im also exstremely tempted to keep one of the babies from Wifezillas eggs when they hatch. I am a sucker for mutts

Well I got 16 more eggs in the bator from Ducklove334 ( I think thats the number o.0 )

They were expertly wrapped and arrived in perfect condition! ow along with my 3 runner x rouen eggs I have 12 scovie and 4 crested mallards

well right now im just having trouble finding something around here to candle with! but I think all the eggs are good since I dont smell anything bad

I do want to buy a hatcher bator though, but right now im near the bottom of my funds.
