Got my first green eggs....

After the animal attacks of 2010, I thought I would never raise an EE to maturity.

We got the chicks on April 9 and the first green egg showed up on September 18! Yay!
I really wanted blue or rose eggs, but I am thrilled to have the green ones!

YEAH!!!! Congratulations! Please post a picture when you have a chance. I am waiting on my three EE's to begin laying, and my fingers are crossed to get a green egg.

I would love to get a few hens that come from rose or blue egg stock. I am positively nutty about having different egg colors. I am hoping my BCM's hurry up and molt so the eggs get dark again!
